Aztec Airways loves furry friends!
Passengers traveling with pets to or from The Bahamas are responsible for obtaining all required veterinary and government documentation prior to travel.
Common Requirements Include:
- Valid pet import permit
- Current rabies vaccination certificate
- Health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian
- Additional documentation depending on country of origin

Incomplete pet documentation may result in denied boarding or denied entry by immigration/agricultural authorities.
Passengers traveling with pets are encouraged to contact Aztec Airways prior to departure to confirm current requirements and pet travel policies.
Additional things to keep in mind:

- You can add your pet to your reservation when you book online at www.aztecairways.com

- Your pet(s) will accompany you in the cabin during your flight.

- We require a dog crate and/or muzzle to be within reach in case it is needed.

- Pets are not permitted to travel on Aztec Airways flights unaccompanied.

- Small service pets travel free of charge. Medium and large service Animals receive 25% discount on applicable fees with the same bag allowance when purchasing a seat. Please call before booking to submit your Service Animal Air Transportation Form and receive your discount.

Pets flying from the Bahamas to the U.S must be at least 6 months of age and have a current rabies certificate.
