Bahamas Airport Closures

Dear Passengers:
Please be advised that, in the interest of safety with Tropical Depression Nine, several Bahamas airports will close on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:00 PM and are expected to reopen on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 6:00 AM.
All openings remain subject to the official all clear from the Department of Meteorology and the Bahamas Air Navigation Services Authority (BANSA).
Aztec Airways Update:
All Aztec Airways flights scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025, will be rescheduled to Monday, September 29, 2025.

Close at 8pm on Saturday Sept 27
Open 6am on Monday Sept 29
San Andros and Fresh Creek Airports Will
Close at 8pm on Saturday Sept 27
Open at 6am on Monday Sept 29
Great Harbour Cay Airport will
Close at 8pm on Saturday Sept 27
Open at 6am on Monday Sept 29
Leonard Thompson Airport and Treasure Cay Airport will
Close at 10am on Sunday Sept 28
Open at 1pm on Monday Sept 29
South Bimini Airport will
Close at 8pm on Saturday Sept 27
Open on at 6am on Monday Sept 29
The southern islands of Mayaguana, Acklins, Crooked Island, San Salvador, Long Island, are
Clear of the system
Exuma and the associated Cays are
Expected to receive some rains with moderate to light winds.
