Aztec Airways has taken a major stride forward in growing its presence and connectivity after announcing in June 2024 that it has officially relocated its headquarters to FLL. The carrier, a scheduled commuter airline that has provided service to remote locations in the Bahamas, including Eleuthera and the Abacos, since 1998, was housed at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) for 20 years prior to its move.
The transition marks a moment of progress and growth for the carrier as it maintains its decades-long commitment to dependable and safe service to the Bahamas. It extends Aztec Airways’ network and fosters convenient and swift connectivity for its customers to FLL’s other airlines, fixed-base operators (FBOs) and private terminals.
